Project Card Drawers

Got a request for a quote on an interesting project; an old fashioned card catalog with sorting collector cards. So, after drafting out a couple of plans, I'm going to build a single drawer to present as a prototype. And guess what, you are all invited to join me online as I follow one of my planned methods.

For this prototype I'll be using box-store 2x4s with a plans in play for either higher quality softwoods, hardwoods, and plywood in play. If all goes well, I shall get all the following done during today's livestream:

• Cutting the necessary boards to rough length

• Planing and jointing those boards

• Final Cuts

• Sanding

• Glue-up

• Final Finish

This test will hone in a bit more on the estimate on time of production and give the client more information into the final contract, should it be signed.
